HOW DO WE WORK?
Simple

You contact us and we telephone you to discuss the project.

When we understand your requirements we send you an initial set of lyrics; just a few verses, and you decide if they are suitable. If not we will listen to your comments and work with you until you are happy with them. We make no charges at this stage. If you have written your own lyrics we will be happy to write a suitable melody to use with them. Next we both decide on which singer(s) to use and send you a simple version of the melody. When we are both sure that this is going to work well we can go ahead.

Copyright and Royalties.

When you have paid for your song we assign the copyright to you. When your song is released anywhere commercially we will collect the writing royalties in the usual way and share these with you.

What will it cost?

Every song is different. We can give you estimate before we start work. We will never exceed the estimate and aim to give you the best possible value. If you think we can help you please leave your details in the CONTACT section and we will telephone without delay. You will talk to the owner of our company.

To make sure our clients are happy with their song before we go to the recording studio we usually supply a basic version sung by Dave and recorded on a simple mixer. Please listen to two examples. "Young Friends Of Mine" and "Maps" below and compare with the studio versions in the "Listen" section.

We also get requests for cover versions of famous songs for use in advertisements, blogs and radio broadcasts. Listen to "Then He Kissed Me" which we  recorded for a lipstick advertisement. We take care of all royalty issues. This is very much cheaper than using the original recording and we can really "liven it up"!

We can handle almost any Pop/Rock/Country/Folk Music  styles  - vocals and instrumentals

Sometimes we will produce a song without making any charge. The recording below of "Rock Island Line" was recorded specially for a radio programme about "How Skiffle Changed The World". They wanted an "amateur" sounding version in a style not used before.

The version below was used and has been played many times. Dave did not make any charge. As result we are working on a series of 12 Skiffle songs for the radio station.
